The Renewable Energy Growth Forum: Chandigarh Chapter

Chandigarh, January 23, 2019: India’s leading B2B events organizers, UBM India, under the mentorship of Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA) organized a one day technical conference on the critical subject of Treating and Channelizing Agriculture Waste to Bio-Energy. The role of UBM India is to create the relevant sessions which touches the pulse of the industry whilst bringing a various stakeholders under one common roof. This will open up new business horizons for the state leading to increase in investment in this critical sector.

The state nodal agency, PEDA, plays a vital role in the promotion and development of renewable energy programmes/projects in the state of Punjab. Being one of India’s leading agricultural state, Punjab, with its vast fertile lands is also fittingly known as the ‘Food Bowl of India’. Naturally, the quantum of Agricultural waste, post harvesting, is also very high. Technology-centric solutions provide the key to not just disposal but also generation of valuable power from the same.
